Engagement: If you reply “Yes” or “Interested,” scammers will:
Ask for personal info (SSN, date of birth, address).
Request upfront fees for things like “training materials,” “software,” or “background checks.”
Send you downloads or links that install malware.
Use your personal data for identity theft or financial fraud.
Outcome: Victims lose money, expose sensitive information, or compromise their devices.
WHAT TO DO
Do not reply to the message.
Do not click any links or download files.
Block the sender on your phone.
Delete the message after taking a screenshot (if you want to report it).
