HOW IT USUALLY WORKS
Hook: A prestigious company name (Korn Ferry), high pay for little work, and a WhatsApp contact link.
Engagement: If you respond, attackers may:
Move the conversation to WhatsApp where scams are harder to track.
Ask for personal details (age, ID, banking info).
Demand upfront fees for “training” or “software.”
Involve you in money mule schemes or fake investment pitches.
Outcome: Victims risk identity theft, financial loss, or being roped into criminal money laundering.
WHAT TO DO
Do not reply or click the WhatsApp link.
Do not share personal info.
Block the sender and report the group as spam/junk.
Delete the message after taking a screenshot (if you want to report it).
