Request upfront fees for things like “training materials,” “software,” or “background checks.”
Or attempt to install malware if they send you downloads.
Outcome: Victims lose money, give up personal data, or both.
WHAT TO DO
Do not reply — ignore the “Yes” or “Interested” bait.
Do not click any links or call any numbers from the message.
Block the sender on your phone.
Delete the message after taking a screenshot (if you want to report it).
